all grown up

Asher has been going to day camp this week. It's three days a week for 4 hours. He is loving it and so is his mommy. I was nervous how he would do since he has never really done anything like this. Day 1 he was a little hesitant but I was able to sneak out without a fuss. He came away from the first day raving about the bounce house. Day 2 he walked right into the classroom. Today he asked if it was time to go from the moment he got up and then proceeded to drag me into the classroom once we got there. I think he likes it. He goes again next week.

We snapped this pic this morning on our way out. He loves taking his own backpack and lunch every day.

He is just too cute here for words. How I love my little man!

two month update

Earlier this week we took Beckham to his two month check up. He did great.

Here are his stats:

Weight: 13 lbs 15 oz         70%
Height:  25.5 inches          95%

As you can see he is one long boy. 3-6 mos clothes are getting to tight for him through the crotch, especially with a full diaper :) Beckham is a very calm and good baby. He has slept pretty much through the night since birth. If he does wake up it is around 4-6 am and he goes right back to sleep. He has decided recently that he doesn't like to be cuddled to sleep. As soon as you swaddle him, if you try to hold him close, he just squirms and squirms but he will calm right down as soon as you put him in the crib. So yeah, he pretty much puts himself to sleep. Basically he has sleep trained himself. It's very nice although I wasn't quite ready to give up the rocking to sleep yet but oh well.

Here is a cute photo of him while Quinn was playing with him tonight.

In other news, the boys got Quinn a grill for Father's Day. Tonight we grilled pizza and then had grilled bananas with Nutella for dessert. Delicious. Asher just ate the Nutella as you can tell by the pictures below but he loved every second of it.

baseball

This was Asher's and Beckham's first Durham Bulls baseball game. We only made it 3 1/2 innings before we got rained out. But luckily that was enough time to eat yummy stadium food which is the whole point of going to a game.
