Surfing with the Mosquitoes

This week, our friend Amy invited us to go out on the boat with her to celebrate her birthday. Amy and Travis are in the picutres below.

We had a great time. Quinn tried wakesurfing for the first time and was amazing at it as you can tell from the pictures below.
The water was beautiful and the temperature was perfect. However, we stayed out about 10 minutes too long on the lake. By the time we got back to the dock, we were hit with a swarm of mosquitoes. It was disgusting. Straight out of a horror film. They were so thick it was like a blanket. Amy and I were both hit hard with bites. We now sit at work and try to think up ways to get them to stop itching. So far, not much has worked. Hopefully, the itching won't last long. We've also had several people tell us that now we have the West Nile. We are hoping to get adjoining hospital rooms if that is the case.

Shouldn't that be...finger nail polish remover?

Finger nail polish over the itching bite. It dries, then depletes the bite of air thereby causing a chemical reaction in the bite itself wherein the bite self-implodes, much like a black hole. Once the bite becomes a black hole, it is no longer a viable entity in the cosmos, although, according to the string-theory it could survive in a parallel universe or one someone else's body.
