snowed (iced) in
We haven't left our house since Friday evening. We have had a pretty big storm here and they say the roads are terrible. We have enjoyed spending most of the time in our pjs and just playing with Asher. This morning (since church was cancelled) we bundled up Asher and took him outside to enjoy his first North Carolina snow storm.

That looks fun. I like hunkering down and spending time together as a family. Forced quality time. When Miles and I were first married the power went out for a day or two. It was so nice because instead of watch TV etc, we played games by candlelight and talked and laughed. It was awesome.
Asher is such a doll with a great big grin for his mommy....or daddy. Last time his daddy threw someone (his sister) out in the snow he almost ended up dead (from his sister). Glad that Asher enjoys it more.
Guess you won't be making any snowmen with concrete snow like that.
So why does it look like your windows are open? That snow must be solid if Quinn can walk on top of it. Asher looks like he's having fun!
"Yellow, Grandma's favorite color", as my little grandkids would say. Really feel perkedup and energized with your new wallpaper of yellow flowers. So springlike.....which is reassuring as I stare out the window at another 15" of snow coming down. Say hi to Asher for me. :)
