Today on MSNBC.com, they posted a sampling of questions of the civics test that immigrants must be able to answer during their naturalization interview. I thought it would be interesting to see how I do as well as others. Apparently, most Americans don't do well on tests like these.
Apparently, I'm a good citizen as I scored 100%.

Mark looked over my shoulder while I took this test. You better believe we would be the best damn citizen this country has ever seen: 100% all the way.
so i only got 75%. and i learned that it was patrick henry who said "give me liberty or give me death". i also learned what form i (or the guys who mow our lawn) might need to become a citizen. all in all, a learning experience. thank you!
Okay Miss BS in Political Science....I'm impressed! I got 90%..missed #18 & #20. It's been a long time since I had my poly sci college class and still I missed a couple of really basic questions. How embarrassing....don't tell Quinn!

Chad and I took the test together and we scored 100%, plus MSNBC gave us extra credit for our speed in answering the questions. They have asked us to go to southern Arizona to guard the border for a week because we are true Americans and better than the rest of you that scored less than us and we're proud to be an American where at least we know we're free and won't forget the men who died that gave that right to we and we'll proudly stand up.......
next to you (100 percenters only) and defend her still today cause we love this land (better than those of you that got less than 100%) God bless the borders of the USA.
I confess I scored only 90% but I had a senior moment during the quiz otherwise I would have scored 110%. Extra credit for speed.

I got 19 out of 20 but they said I only got a 90%. I'm claiming that I got a 95%

I think you should start tutoring Lacy. She needs help, otherwise they might boot her out of the country for not knowing enough about the very country she is a citizen of. And I say you got a 95% too!
did you guys honestly answer every one of these questions without any internet research? I'm having a hard time believing it. I'm with Steph--75%.
I really did. I mean I wasn't 100% positive on all of these, but by process of elimination I was able to get them all right.
Devry did ask me if New Zealand was one of the original 13 colonies so don't feel too bad.
I knew it! Yes, this makes me feel much better.
