Ok, not really, but I thought I would just borrow a play from Diddy (aka. Sean Combs, Puffy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy) and try to frighten all of you into voting like he did last election.
This weekend Quinn and I were models and had some pictures taken of the two of us. Now, after much discussion and debate we have narrowed it down to two photos. Quinn had the brilliant idea of posting them on the blog and asking for everyone to take a vote to help us decide. So here they are. Keep in mind, they will be touched up a bit. They are in rough form. That little hair fly away that I have in option 1 will be photoshopped right out.

my vote is for #1. Quinn looks manly and D looks Hot with a capital H!!

i must go with #2. your faces are brighter and closer than #1. it's perfection.
The obvious choice is Option #3: a simple yet beautiful picture of yours truly and yours truly only.
(but not to leave this as a totally useless comment, i like #2)

The pose is better in picture number 2 but the color is a bit washed in my opinion. My vote is for number 1 Black& White, looks real rich.
From the photos, it appears that Quinn DevHoyo is taller than you. Is that really the case, or is he standing on a box. I know height is important to you. My personal choice for the photos is #2, which means you'll pick #1, which is really what I want you to pick, but knowing that I really want you pick #1, you'll pick #2, which is really what I want you to do. But, you'll be thinking I want you think I want #2, so you'll pick #1, which is what I want you to do. Knowing what I want will bother you, so you'll pick #2, which is want I want you to do. It's inconceivable to me that you think you know what I want. Okay, what movie is that from. Quickly now. Oh, by the way, if Grandpa Howard was here with us responding to your blog, he'd pick #'s 1 and 2 and simply say "I like me, who do you like".
for what it's worth, my secretary thinks #1 color is the best because there is too much open space in number 2. but don't listen to her...this is the woman that interchanges the word parvo with privy as in "i'm not parvo to that information". i have tried to explain that parvo is a disease for dogs but she hasn't caught on.
D, while I think you look smashing in #1, I think two is a better wedding invitation shot. Plus, I rather like the open space. It leaves room for a super-imposed image of Mallory's head. (Quinn, by no means am I dismissing your looking smashing in #1--it's just that ultimately, as long as your eyes aren't closed, it doesn't really matter).
duh, Princess Bride. that's the name of the movie although the description fits Dev Gale as well. I like #1 but...as you wish.

I vote for #1 in black and white. I think it is more flattering to both of you and I like the composition better!

Compositionally I'd go for #2 hands down, not that my professional opinion matters. I would suggest a little Photoshop magic to darken the faces. There's no doubt Quin looks manly and D looks Hot.
Here I am, the Mother-in-law, on a blog!!!Who would have guessed?! Quinn was sooo right when he said, "Mom, Devry looks AMAAAAZING!! in the engagement photos. Devry, any photo of you would be beautiful and the two you have selected are both perfect. However, taking my age into account, I prefer the color photo which is centered. The pose is more attractive, and especially if you zoom in on it just a bit more. I like seeing your blue eyes. You make a very handsome couple, even if Quinn is shorter than you are. Love you both!
I am sitting at the computer under a lot of pressure from Mallory to hurry up my decision since she has pressing homework to complete on this computer. You are both such gorgeous specimens that I can't make up my mind. But my choice would be #2 B&W which is unusual for me since I grew up in the color era and black and white photos meant old photos that were taken before there was color film. Of course I will love whichever photo you pick because they are all great.
Ether you both are really really really ridiculously good looking or your photographer was amazing.
Pose number 2 is my vote. I like the B/W simply because the actual color is dependant on one's computer monitor and not being able to see the actual color photo.
Pose number 2 is better--especially of Devry. El Gaucho.

This is the mother-in-law again...MOG. I have been having such a great time reading all the comments on this blog. DevHoyo has some of the wittiest friends and family. My favorite one, and the one I always look for, is jla. I have finally figured out who you are jla....thanks to BOB's photo options.....Uncle Jeff. You are the prize winning nut and everything you write I quote to the DelHoyo side. You have become infamous (you know...more than famous?!) and I am certainly looking forward to meeting you at the DevHoyo reception.
That day we spent in front of the porta potties was magical. I also fondly remember our first kiss at the riots.

Now that Quinn knows that Devry actually likes #2 better, isn't the decision obvious? You'll go with #1 for sure.
I changed my mind. After closer inspection of photo #2 (the color version) I now see its merits. I so did not notice the blue Ascot scarf Quinn is wearing (the Thurston Howell III look) the first time, but it says it all for me.

Devry... first off congrats on the engagement!!! Second, I vote for the first sepia picture. You both look beautiful. I've never met you Quinn, so when I say beautiful, I mean hansome. Woooh, good thing I got that cleared up. Anyway, good luck with the wedding stuff. I will now get back to work and quit stealing time from all the sickies.

with option number two it is a more welcoming photo of both of you, and I think that your picture should be welcoming since you are inviting people to your wedding. if people do not feel welcome there is a chance that they might not come. :)

Well i unfortunately will not be voting as the pictures i took clearly did not make the cut (yes devastating i know) therefore i am forced to boycott all events that pertain to the wedding my apologies to those who will truly miss me at these events, but please don't let my absence influence the rest of you, be strong!
